Olivia Runyon Bio

My name is Olivia Runyon, but you can call me Livvy. I am sixteen years old and I live on a farm in St. James, Missouri. I have been a Christian since I was ten years old.

 

I love to go fishing in the summer, and be outside in the sun. I love to read – anything I can get my hands on. I like listening to music and watching movies. I love to write stories and sew. I would like to be a writer when I grow up. I love to hear people’s stories, and listen to the details of their lives and emotions.

                                                                                 I also like to chew mint gum in the  winter 

                                                                                 because when you breathe in, your mouth

                                                                                 gets really cold.

 

I live with my mom and dad, and I have two older sisters and an older brother who have all graduated from high school. My family is a big influence on my life because I look up to them all so much. My parents are the source of my support and guidance, my sisters are my Christian role models, and my brother is perhaps the smartest person I know.

   

I am so excited to go on this mission trip! The things leading up to my decision to answer God’s call include going through the Experiencing God study, reading Through the Gates of Splendor by Elisabeth Elliot, and seeing the beginning and end of my sisters’ transformations each time they went on mission trips. I love God and I am so excited to grow in Him and let Him use me to lead others to Him.
