My name is Stephanie. I am a 16 year old (though I will be 17 by the time we all meet) junior at a boarding school in
southern PA, though I live in central PA. This trip will be my first
international mission trip, but I have been on two school trips abroad,
one to London and the other to Prague, Czech Republic. I love exploring
other cultures and environments. I love my school and am

producing the musical Pippin and have the part of Pippin’s quirky
grandmother. It’s a lot of fun and the friends I get from doing theater
are great. I’m also in my schools book club and love reading, though I
couldn’t say who my favorite author is. I’m also in my schools band and
female acapella group, which is lots of fun and probably my favorite
activity. I’m really into music, mostly of the mellow alternative style,
though my favorite band, Nickel Creek, is a folk group. I play bass
clarinet in band and I also play mandolin and piano. I’m the arts page
editor for the schools yearbook as well. I am involved in my schools
interfaith group, where we discuss questions concerning religion,
usually Christianity. This is only my second mission trip and I am
thrilled to have this opportunity to serve through Christ.
